Amanda Wingfield persuades her son Tom to bring home a gentleman-caller for her daughter Laura.
Piano suite arranged from the one act opera of 1972.
First performance October 6, 2002 - Tavern on the Green, New York. A friend requested that a piano suite should be prepared for her wedding. The lush, romantic style of the early work suited the occasion, and was well received.
